Summit Cabinet started producing cabinets in 2016. It started in 2000 SF shop at the home of Nathan Burt, owner of Summit Cabinet and Millwork. In 2018 Nathan added an additional 2000 SF onto his shop. Since then Summit has continued to procure modern cabinet production machinery to improve their process and your product.
Nathan loves America and everything about Idaho. Nathan was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nathan developed his love for wood working in his high school shop class. Nathan has always enjoyed and excelled working in the construction industry. Nathan has worked in residential and commercial construction. Nathan has been employed on concrete, framing, and finish carpentry crews.
Nathan studied pre-engineering at Salt Lake Community College. During this time Nathan was employed at Millcreek Cabinets where he learned how to construct cabinets using the "European" method. Nathan moved to Idaho where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Construction Management from BYU-Idaho. During this time Nathan worked at local cabinet shop where he learned how to build "Face Frame" cabinets.
Nathan enjoys spending time with his beautiful bride and his family of 4 children. He enjoys building things, fishing, waterfowl hunting, farming and tinkering with mechanical things.
